 Slow computer speed must be the last thing that all the users want to see. However, to be honest, it is unavoidable to encounter such problem as long as you have been using your computer. So, users may have tried their best to find how to recover or maintain computer high speed.

When installing system, you should have formatted the disks completely and allotted the partitions properly. Since you have to install other applications and many are started automatically along with the startup of system, there may bring about a large number of messy installing files in the hard disks. Even though you use some optimizer to clean it up, your computer is still running slow.
First of all, you should delete the junk files
in the registry and system folders, settle the memory and adjust the cache. Close down the automatic startup of all the applications except anti-virus and firewall, as well as the seldom used starting program. Then, start your computer again. Use anti-virus to detect and delete all the viruses thoroughly.
Later, perform defragmenting operations to the disks, because you have done so many operations, the system must be crammed with a mass of junks. If you do not get rid of them immediately, they can become the culprit that hinders your computer speed. After defragmentation, you should backup system to other partitions except C disk and close down system restore function.
Moreover, if you install any driver or application, it is better for you to follow up the system prompt instead of starting computer after installing all of them, because the system may collide with the driver and application which can damage the system.
Simply, to speed up computer are divided into three steps: optimize system, anti-virus and defragment disks. It seems a tedious and complicated task for you, but if you want to keep your computer high performance, it is worthwhile for you doing that. And, you do not have to do that manually, you can turn to those specific tools for you.
Nowadays, there are bunches of professional software in the market. Besides using optimizer and anti-virus software, you can also use professional defrag tool to help you. Though, it is true that you can use disk defragmenter in the Windows, you should make sure that you have enough time and patience to wait for it.
