Computers are Coming Down in Price |

 The great thing about technology is that the longer its been around the more affordable it becomes. If youre old enough to remember when a calculator first came out than you certainly must know what Im talking about. Calculators arent the only examples, who among us doesnt remember how expensive VHS was when it first came out, or DVD players, or CD players for that matter? It seems that after a long time period of waiting, laptop computers finally seemed to be coming down in price well. So if youre looking to purchase a laptop now may be a very good time to do so.
Im sure that we can all remember just a few years back when it wouldve been next to impossible to get a laptop for under $500 let alone for less than $400, but technology is changing all of that and making computers that wouldve been top of the line just a few years ago well within the price range of most Americans. The size, shape, and capabilities of modern laptops have come a long way as
well. Around a decade ago there were fewer options in terms of size and capabilities especially within a given price range. Today you can find many different shapes, sizes, and options all within a few hundred dollars of each other.
Another great advent and laptop technology has been the notebook. Notebooks are smaller versions of regular PCs that tend to pack a little bit less punch in terms of their computing power, but they do offer some very nice features of a very affordable price. You can typically find a good notebook for less than $400. Notebooks may not be for everyone but if youre looking for a small and highly portable way to have a computer that no book may be a sensible option for you. Of course as smart phones become more popular in tablet PCs begin to take over, then you may see the notebooks become increasingly obsolete and in turn even more affordable.
Tablet PCs have started out at a relatively good price point for most people. Even the tablet produced by the most highly touted producer but it can be purchased for around $500 for base model. Granted these tablets have a ways to go before they will replace laptops but I think that theyre on their way. So enjoyed a good price of laptops now, and may be prepared for some good prices on tablets in the future.
